Sleeping Baggot St. Mallard.

Marie-Thérèse O’Loughlin

This is one of my favourite photos. It was taken some months ago at Baggot St.. The feathered curves at first glance reminded of those one sees created by pastry on the edge of apple and jam tart tins, or even Cornish pasties. Note how the dark and light of feathers are reflected in the water. Think caramel chocolate twirls, or Bailey’s Irish cream. I think this picture would make a good lid on a box of chocolate biscuits or sweets.
