End of August Irish moon

The joy of having a balcony is that one can so easily step outside in the early hours of the morn, and gaze upwardly in a lingering, relaxing fashion in search of any sign of a blue moon. I captured the rainbow colours and additional thick brown cobalt elements that surrounded the edge of the moon. I noticed too that the moon had a very obvious thin blue surrounding the outer layer. It was more orangey when I took snaps sometime ago.

I kept getting blue moon reflections in the camera, but that is all. It can take many shots in order to get a good focused one such as this one, which has not been fixed in the photoshop. I simply gave the image and black background a white frame. When I concentrated on just the moon, the background came out a solid pitch black colour.
