Mute cygnet Portobello Bridge, Dublin May 2011

I really adored the pure physique wildness of young Irish Mute cygnet, as s/he contentedly preened away, with seemingly, not a care in the whole widely world. I like too the reflection of top half of house with chimney in the water. Not to mention the white clouds and blue sky and the yellow light glowing from the window. To be sure – there are a lot of feathers dotted about in the grass after all that concentrated hard work! I think this would be a lovely picture for an artist to draw, as there is so much going on in the image.

The Lumix camera has an inbuilt Leica lens. Erm… I’m not exactly sure if I took this photo with the Lumix or small Kodak? I’ll have to check it out for reference purposes.
